I work where I am needed, mostly in western and central Asia. When I'm not working I travel as much as possible. I love meeting new people and experiencing new places and different cultures. Love people and animals... and beer.

My friend told me about it and said he'd used it many times in his travels. I don't know too much about it yet... I'm a couchsurfing virgin.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Me and my buddy climbed Mt. Misen on Miyajima island near Hiroshima (extremely hung over and wearing flippy floppies) then drank water from the cauldron hanging over the "Kiezu no Hi" (the eternal flame) a holy fire that's been burning for like 1200 years. Thanks Kobo Daishi.
Side note: When we reached the top we learned that there were a series of lifts that we could have taken.... rather than hike it in 100 degree jungle heat... but that wouldn't have been much of a story.
