About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to know and experience as much of this world as possible. I want to meet people from all walks of life and then go and visit places where my way of doing things isn't the common way.

ABOUT ME

I am a happy, peaceful ex-student, have just left living in Scotland. I have a real passion for outdoor events and the 'greener' things in life. Festivals seem to occupy my summers and dreaming about going to them occupies most of the rest of the year.
I can be quite shy but am always willing to help anyone and try to look on the brighter side of life. Music has a very important place in my life and listen to mostly anything although i have a real soft spot for bluegrass and roots dub.
I love getting to know people and really being able to express myself, and feel comfortable around people is one of the best feelings.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the good in the world.

Its so easy to let time get the better of you, but being happy and OK with what you are doing is the important thing. Do what scares you and love doing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people who do not necessarily share the same background as me, whether that is cultural or otherwise. I originally started hosting to meet new people and also provide a space for people wanting to visit where I was. I am a keen tour guide when I know where I am (and maybe a bit about the place too) and so loved giving people information on what was worth doing.

I am now no longer able to host as I no longer have my own address but hope to carry on using couchsurfing to meet new people, learn and teach as well along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing out looking over 2 borders whilst skiing was some sight (even if i did get sunburnt). Singing infront of a 2000 person audience whats probably one of the bravest things i have ever done (i can't sing).

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a wealth of Useless Information that may or may not prove useful depending on what people end up doing.

I am really keen on greener living lifestyles and also healthier lifestlyes and love to share, teach and learn in both of these.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an alright cook and have a few personal specialities than I can whip up. I also love to share stories and provide an insight into new ways of looking at things.
