ABOUT ME

I believe there are 2 parts to everything. I consider myself on the artistic, abstract, side of the spectrum. I love listening and playing music. Started with piano, then violin. Guitar, bass, and drums followed and invited a uke and mandolin to the mix. Im in a band, called "MaybeAwake", that often plays 2 awesome clubs in Atlantic City (the Boneyard, le grande fromage).

I like painting, drawing, and taking pictures of stuff. Art runs in the family. My brother is a skilled graphic designer from Baltimore MD. He makes some crazy good flyers and posters. see his art here: http://www.coroflot.com/OMurphyArt

I like philosophy. I can talk about it endlessly. I'm very spiritual. mainly Taoism and Christianity.

I like hanging out, doin a little partyin, jammin, talkin, walkin. I like to surf, skate, play rugby and a little basketball here and there.

I love cooking. Food is the one the key things that drive us. I used to be a Vegetarian for about 6 years. Then i relapsed because of the cursed thing that is bacon. I plan on going back to green soon, but maybe having the occasional monthly bacon. I can cook you the best bacon you'll ever taste. I guarantee it.

I get along with people that get a long with people. I like bouncing thoughts back and forth, making people laugh, and keeping smiles all around.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in love. Through love comes respect. We should all have respect for people, places, and things. Unfortunately we live in such a busy world, and others get distracted and forget to respect. But there still good people everywhere, and theres good in people everywhere. Im out to find the good and add to it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still new so I don't know much about it but I'm looking to do more traveling so i can make my mark in different places in the world. I look forward to helping people out with anything I can and spreading good vibes. I have quite a few skills and consider myself pretty handy. Probably won't be doing as much hosting being that i'll be living with my parents for a little while but that can possibly change in the future. Ya never know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havent used this website yet but i intend on trying it out with my friend Billy on our trip to San Diego. When i found out about this site, it blew my mind. It seems like such a cool idea. It seems like a great opportunity to meet people and link together the human consciousness.
