Τhe previous Self-Statement----

Hiya, I'm Colin from China. I love traveling and meeting different people. Now I study Modern Greek in Greece. It's a fantastic experience.

My favorite place to go is the seaside although my hometown is a coastal city. When I travel in a different country, I'm eager to know about the culture and the daily life of local residents, otherwise, I feel discontent with the journey.

I enjoy conversations with people from different culture and educational background and this gives inspirations to me. To some extent I'm a "day-dreamer" and I can come up with interesting and crazy ideas. Anyway, you cannot get bored with me and it does no harm if the ideas are just ideas.(haha)

I think that I'm easy to get along with. On the one hand, people around me usually praise me for being polite, helpful and kindhearted and I can make friends easily with local people when traveling. On the other, although I am very curious about the local culture and life, I stick to some old-fashioned principles. I seldom ask personal questions and I always show my respect to others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As for the reasons why I choose Couchsurfing, basically, I think the hosts on this website have similar ideas with me and this makes it easier to get wonderful experience together. Secondly, this website offers us an opportunity to continue the friendship and relationship. Last but not least, to be frank, it's better to spend money with my friends( though newly-made) than to spend on hotels.
