Overview
About Me
Young professional who graduated from college in May of 2015. Since then I have been working as a technical recruiter (getting software developers jobs) and really just trying to attain my goal of paying off all my student loans before I am 28. My typical weeknight is spent watching hockey or various HBO/Netflix shows.
On the weekends I try to do something fun one day like an concert or event or dinner out and then typically rest up the second day. I enjoy occasional drinks but cannot drink like I could in college anymore.
Working on getting a friend to write a reference for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My current company has asked me to relocate to Boston to help be a champion of culture for one of our offices that has not been able to find and keep motivated young talent. I have an affordable places available in June but all the sublets until then are just too pricey.
Interests
Hockey and watching most sports. Cinema. Travel (part of paying off loans in gaining the freedom to travel the world without a job for awhile). Snowboarding/ Skiing, more of a snowboarder of late but started with skis and plan to go back eventually. Video games, dogs, and really anything that is new.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is really just anything from my childhood. Pearl Jam, Led Zepplin, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Sublime are what comes to mind when thinking of bands I listen to the most.
I loved the Harry Potter books and I love the idea of reading novels but I typically find myself doing the majority of my reading on Reddit.
So many great movies not even sure I could pick one. But Big Lebowski.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tutored a boy in Belize and taught him a "silent E" song that my Mom taught me when I struggled in English as a kid.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belize, Mexico
