Me? Hmm...

Outgoing, fun and comical (well, at laugh at myself at least).
I am a caring person who loves epic adventures and that WOW feeling that world exploring brings me.
When I explore, it is always deep and detailed - so that I can absorb and learn as much as possible.
I am very organized and super clean ("OCD-clean" my friends would say LOL).

I have a huge heart for animals of all sorts, but must admit... dogs are my weakness (hugs).
I am a non-smoker and love a good conversation -
However, I can also be very quiet and VERY independent with my travels.

I was a DJ for many years and love all kinds of music from all corners of the globe.
I worked in the cruise ship industry for 6 years as a DJ and various Entertainment Host positions.

I was backpacking around the world for many years non-stop until a minor thing called Covid popped up and put an unexpected 'pause' to that.
I then returned home, bought an old minivan, turned it into a "home-on-wheels" and off I went on a 1 year road-trip across Canada and down through the USA. Over 40,000km.
I finally experienced VANLIFE !!!

With this journey, I am very fortunate to have already visited over 100 countries... still going.
As I continue, my mission, explore the places that I have NOT been and that are on my "world itinerary."
Whatever city you live in... I hope to be there soon!" 🌍

IMPORTANT:
"Why have I only Surfed and not yet Hosted?"
Over 10 years ago, my home back in Canada was involved in a huge fire. I lost it.
After that, I decided to take a break from life and explore around the world for awhile.
I haven't stopped since.
So, because I have been 'on the road' since I joined the Couchsurfing community,
I have not had my own place to be able to host anyone at.
I do hope to host randomly in various locations if I stay in one place for awhile.
One day, I will repay all of the extreme hospitality shown to me, by hosting and returning the kindness.
However, first, I need a new home! :)

I have made the crazy decision to set out for countless years and explore numerous countries,
seek out epic adventures and LIVE MY LIFE to the fullest!
Because of the magnitude of the journey, I plan to meet countless people from all over this amazing planet.
I am hoping with the help of my new Couchsurfing friends that this dream of mine can come true.
I know this community will add to the experience and make each visit even more memorable.

PLEASE NOTE:
I travel with a camping air bed, air pillow and sleeping bag.
So, if you don't have a couch... no problem... just a floor. :)
