Surprise - I enjoy travelling, getting to know places and meeting new people. ;)

Most of my travel is for work, but I always try to see a bit of the places I get to, meet friendly locals, sample some local cuisine, or just explore some nice cafés.

When travelling for fun, I prefer cycling tours, train or road trip. While much preferring train over car, I travel to the Western Balkans/ex-YU happily and frequently, which is sometimes more difficult by train, and I really dislike long bus rides...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of times I don't need a place to stay (work, see above), but still like to connect with locals for a coffee or beer.
