- slept in Tibetan refugee families in Dharamsala, India, where the Dalaï Lama resides
- slept in the Indian desert in Jaisalmer
- slept 3 nights in a lodge on a river of the Amazon, fished some piranhas (that we ate for dinner), searched some caimans, did a trek in the Amazonian forest
- went to Iguasu waterfalls
- climbed the Ijen volcano in Java
