About Me
Hi ! I have just finished my studies in a business school in France! After 5 years of study, I decided it was time to realize my dream: to travel through Latin America for 1 year!
The starting point of my trip is Brazil! I became interested in it thanks to a Brazilian friend who introduced me to funk, cooking and her language. I then started to learn Brazilian Portuguese and above all I decided that it would be my first country.
What I love above all is meeting new people and having fascinating discussions with them! Ok, I admit... I love learning from others and asking them questions!
I have always had a great interest in foreign cultures. I was passionate about Japan for years, I even learned Japanese for several years! Today I'm interested in Latin America :) I'm learning brazilian Portuguese and plan to travel the country for a few months! My dream would be to be fully immersed in Brazilian culture :)
Otherwise I really like to read books of classic French literature. I am interested in many subjects: economics, geopolitics, other cultures...
Then I absolutely love theater, musicals and other shows (I've spent so much time doing so in Paris)
I like to cook a lot too and I would love to cook a French dish with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people who want to share their culture as much as I do. I like to compare our childhoods in our country, the education we had, the books we read, the history of our country... and the cooking! There is so much to share with cooking, dancing...! It would be an honor to discuss it with you ;)
Maybe we could walk around your town? and show me the most incredible places in your city :)
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. There are also many classic French books :) I would love to discuss literature with you!
As I go to Brazil I immersed myself thoroughly in the Brazilian culture! I listen to a lot of funk, a bit of samba too :) I even learned to dance funk ;)
I know that I still have a lot to discover about Brazilian music or even dance! I would love to know your favorite music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a week in a Buddhist temple, I participated in the filming of a Swedish music video and another Eritrean... and many more
Teach, Learn, Share
I have the chance to speak several languages, so I can help you practice another language than yours if you want! I love to cook, it would be a pleasure to cook a quiche Lorraine with you (it's a French dish) or make you my grandmother's cake!
I would love to learn different Brazilian dances like Forro, samba, funk! I would also love to discover Brazilian cooking !
