CURRENT MISSION

To just enjoy life, really. I am studying abroad in the Netherlands for the semester, and my goal is to travel as much as possible. I've always wanted to see Europe and this is the biggest chance I will have.

ABOUT ME

Music, football (Newcastle United, Red Bull New York), politics, reading (news and books). I'm a political science major at the American University in Washington, DC. I like a good drink or two as well, but then again when you live in D.C. and follow politics, you have to (not to mention I support the two most frustrating football teams in the world.) Slight exaggeration? Maybe, but we put up a good fight. Did I mention music?

PHILOSOPHY

I like to advocate that people do whatever they need to do to make themselves happy. I think a stress-free life leads to happiness, which, if nothing else, will make your time on this earth a bit more enjoyable.

Vonnegut, Zinn, Jared Diamond, John Kennedy Toole, Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson...I spend more time reading non-fiction political books nowadays than I do fiction. I'd consider this a major problem with myself, but at least I can admit that.
