ABOUT ME

I'm a queer transman (FtM) with a widely varied past who now practices holistic healing (WhyNotHeal.com). I'm also a sober non-smoker, and, imho, generally considerate, self-contained, positive, quiet and tidy. I adore frank communication, healthy boundaries, meeting new folks, and seeing new places. INFP, Enneagram 6/7, Sag/Scorp, and pretty sensitive to toxicity in general and perfumes in particular.

Oy, so many! Travel, obviously. Cooking, growing, wild-harvesting, preserving, and eating food. Cats, goats and chickens. Bicycling, canoeing, hiking, and snowshoeing. Music, movies, books, and some TV, all widely varied. Meditation. Sporadic yoga. Massage. Hot springs. Intentional community. Non-violent communication (NVC). Sustainable everything. And lately, cordwood masonry and earth-sheltered building.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Almost anything except horror. Love 'em!

Music: Ranging from classical to metal and beyond, often tending towards jazzy, folky and rockin'.

Books: Used to be a big mystery buff, but seem to mostly read health- and/or spirituality-oriented stuff these days.

TV: Mostly PBS documentaries, but also love me some Law & Order and some Project Runway!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to harvest wild rice, process wild game and poultry, milk a cow, build a chicken coop, find a few wild foods, and build a humanure system. I'm interested in natural health and healing. Once upon a time I knew how to play clarinets, saxophones and oboes and do calculus.
