I'm one of those people who WILL talk to you on the plane. After spending the last 8 months in the Midwestern United States working at a health software company, my next step the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. While not traveling the couchsurfing community has been a huge help in making me feel at home.

Mindset by Carol Dweck gave me a necessary perspective change and motivation after graduation. Guns, Germs, and Steel helps answer the question: "why are some countries poor and others ridiculously rich" -- it's really interesting, I'd love to tell you more about the theory (so you won't have to read the whole thing).
