I grew up in St. Petersburg Florida. My family has lived all over the place (Washington DC, San Francisco, Berlin Germany, New York City), and we've always enjoyed traveling and taking vacations.

I currently work at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. Before that I was in graduate school for conservation biology and a teacher of middle school and high school science at a 6-12 public school in Brooklyn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in Europe and had some amazing experiences. I hope to surf and host while back in the States sometime soon.

Intereses

I was a Biology major and specialized in Ecology in college, but I really just love anything academic that has to do with the natural world. I've been lucky to visit many places in my life, but I've spent a lot of time in Peru and would have to say that Tokyo has been my favorite city.
