I am an adventurous athlete, traveler, and friend. I would love to write a very beautiful description of who I am in a way that accurately captures myself but I was never a great writer. Instead by passions led me to practice and love any and all active or outdoors activities. I have a passion for soccer, biking, snowboarding, swimming, hiking, canoeing, volleyball, running and any other activity that tests me physically. Don't worry I still love my usual Netflix binges and good books when I need to rest, but I do have a slight problem saying no to play sports.

Just like everyone on this site I really love to travel because there isn't a lot of adventure in the Midwest. I am a pretty relaxed traveler that would rather experience a new place as a local than pay hundreds of dollars to experience a stereotyped version of what the place really is. I love to snowboard, hike, surf, boat, ski, mountain bike, and more and am constantly on the lookout for a new place to travel to satisfy my cravings for adventure.

In the end, I am pretty down to earth. I live the 9-5 life and have a wonderful family. I just want to keep exploring the world so I hope you take the time to share your home with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is exhausting, not because of the physical exertion of travel but because of the toll it takes on you mentally. There is nothing worse than arriving in a new city and getting caught in tourist traps, feeling anxious about how to best experience the new place, and spending loads of money on accommodations that you barely end up using! I think Couchsurfing is a blessing that gives people the ability to experience new places with the knowledge of locals. Sure you might sleep on a couch from time to time, but the overall experience is likely worth it.

I played soccer for all my life. It holds a special place in my heart. If you happen to have pick-up leagues in your area I would love to play!
I am also starting to get into photography and videography. I am still learning but if you have any tips I am all ears.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I had to pick my top two favorite types of music it would Tropical House and Latin (all). Tropical house makes me feel relaxed and transcendent. Latin music... is just absolutely amazing! You cannot help but dance when you listen. I do love to listen and experience all music. I just happen to REALLY love music that gives me good vibes or makes me want to dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I EVER mountain biked I did it in the Lake District in England. We did an expert level single lane bike trail called "North Face" and it was an incredible and thrilling experience. I only flipped over my handlebars once.
