I am a speech-language pathologist living in Ohio. I teach college students training to provide therapy services themselves. I really enjoy getting outside and being active when possible! I've lived all over the Midwest, moving a lot for grad school and work, and I've really enjoyed making friends all over and now having a couch to crash on in several cities. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am relatively new to Couchsurfing. I just joined at the beginning of this year while planning a trip and I had an amazing experience staying with CS hosts. Since then, I've opened up my home through CS. When I visit new places, I love to have a travel buddy or few to see the sights with.

Interests

I really enjoy live music and watching live sporting events. My work is truly my first love (research in child language development), but when I'm not working I love group fitness classes, hiking nearby trails, and mastering the art of making tea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite travel adventure so far is paragliding over the Swiss Alps. I've never seen anything so breathtaking. There's a picture on my profile that doesn't do justice to how gorgeous the lakes and mountains are. I would love to do this again someday in another part of the world.
