Overview
About Me
Open-minded, easy-going, curious and friendly.
Canadian-bred girl living in England to study the brain, hoping to explore the world in the downtime.
I joined CS to do some traveling around Europe after studying abroad in Glasgow and it was the highlight of my travels. When I went home to Montreal I had the chance to pay it forward and experience CS from the hosting perspective. Now I'm back in Europe, on the traveling side for now, hoping to host when I find a more sizeable apartment!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Joined initially for affordable travel and to meet fellow travellers and locals, but have learned that couchsurfing is so much more than just that. Now I'm couchsurfing to participate in a network of community, sharing and friendship; to learn about other people's backgrounds and customs, exchange stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: My most recent favourite read is All My Puny Sorrows by Miriam Toews. Others include: Ocean at the End of the Lane (Neil Gaiman), When God Was a Rabbit (Sarah Winman), An Unquiet Mind (Kay Redfield Jamison), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (Mark Haddon), Bel Canto (Ann Patchet)...
Movies: My favourite movie would be the lovechild of 'Harold and Maude' and 'In Bruges', with a little bit of Woody Allen humour thrown in.
Music: Cat Empire, Beirut, Sufjan Stevens, Tame Impala, to list a few, but I love having my world opened to new artists / genres.
