Overview
About Me
Moved to London 5 years ago, happy living my second life here, single, working hard in financial services. keen cyclist and runner and live in a large shared house east of Tower Bridge, London.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Always open to meeting and hosting interesting people passing through London for a night or two, especially if you like cycling and exploring London.
Interests
I'm always trying to incorporate active exercise into ordinary daytime life, like cycling or walk/running to work, the speed depending on if I have meetings that day and if I need to look smart. I finished a 10km run last year and attempted a 21km in late October which I just finished and have re-entered with the plan being to run it in a proper time and without stopping!
I'm more and more interested in liberal politics, like to keep up with news, views and whats happening, a real info junkie!

Music, Movies, and Books
Big reader, philosophy is a real interest and big adventure/historical novels by Ken Follett and Nelson de Mille's books are my favourites.
Im a real 70's hard rock fan, and also love the late 90's/early 2000's - seem to have skipped the decades inbetween. David Bowie's incredible music was the soundtrack of my teens along with Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Bad Company. Simply Red played a big role in my romantic life in the 80's, and I developed a genuine obsession for my teenage son's music, Creed, Nickelback, LinkenPark, Jack Johnson much later. Not a massive movie fan for a long time, but I now enjoy big generally highly escapist stuff like Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Transformers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
relocated from South Aftica and started over. Travelled a lot! Best achievement is being a mum to my wonderful son.
What I Can Share with Hosts
yes, I'm mature, but I'm active, interesting and interested, keen on learning and listening and I know lots of stuff!
Countries I’ve Lived In
