What’s up y’all, I’m Collin.

I am 22 and from the Massachusetts and I be traveling. I am kind of a vibe guy. Love meeting new people, I like partying, I like relaxing, I love socializing, and I love making memories with new people no matter the experience.

I’ll skydive, ski, hike, play sports, drink, have insightful talks, explore, skateboard, do art - you name it.

Basically I would say I’m open-minded, spontaneous, and the perfect amount of reckless.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think my core reason is the community of like-minded individuals. That feels like a copout answer but it’s true. I don’t typically enjoy staying at hotels or resorts, only going to tourist attractions, and having a boring simplistic vacation.

I want to meet locals, go to cultural events, do otherworldly things that I have no opportunity to do so anywhere else. I like traveling because it’s some place new to experience. That means the people, the culture, the history, the food, the fun, the traditions - you name it.

That is what I ultimately seek in life and I feel Couchsurfing is a place where I can both do that and do it with awesome people as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love history and political books - both fiction and non-fiction. Philosophy and poetry is cool too. Anything that I feel makes me think abstractly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer i backpacked for 33 days across Europe. I woke up one morning and bought a one way ticket there with a three week notice. I had no plan, no place to stay, and an itch for an adventure.

I was really forced to put myself out there and ended making a lot of friends, some whom I still travel with today.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to show people how to have an uncomfortably good time. Let’s ask strangers to do things together or play some games. Let’s invite groups out to bars or just out for a night of fun.

Many of my favorite memories and trips came from going out of my comfort zone.

First round is always on me - scouts honor!

Other than that, we can be goofy, serious, adventurous - whatever flows. Either way, I promise you won’t regret our time together.
