I'm a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying in Manchester. I do creative writing, and am editing my first novel to send to publishers! I'm generally just a huge nerd, honestly. My accent basically makes it impossible for me to blend in anywhere outside of my state. I play the piano too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My flatmates told me about this site for traveling while I'm in the UK. I'd never heard of it but most of them have said they've used it before and it sounds like it would be really neat. When I'm in the states, hopefully I'll be able to repay the favor to someone else!

Cooking, traveling, gaming, reading, and just generally nerding out. I played tennis before my back injury, and now I'm an avid cyclist. I've recently taken up boxing too which has been a huge amount of fun!

I climbed Ben Nevis up in Scotland and that is honestly one of the most amazing things I've done with my life so far.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you almost anywhere around Knoxville, including the best restaurants, coffee shops, etc, and even show you Cades Cove and Gatlinburg if you have the time. I can cook pretty damn well in America, but I haven't tried it abroad yet other than some small things like pasta because my hall is catered and the kitchens are awful. I can help you practice your English, for what that may be worth.
