About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to help rediscover and rebuild the trust that people have lost in one another.

ABOUT ME

All about me? Well first, I'm probably not the world's most gifted and talented writer. On the contrary, I try to spend as little time writing as possible. Now reading, on the other hand, I enjoy to no end! I read about 3-4 books a month not counting college textbooks, or magazines guys claim to read for the articles (just kidding). When I'm outside I enjoy basketball, golf, running, and going to the beach; none of which I am any good at except running and going to the beach, but it's kinda hard to be bad at those. Living in Charleston is awesome and I'm very lucky to be in a house right on the peninsula. There is always something fun to do, and so many good restaurants you could probably eat out every night for a month and not hit the same place twice. I recently befriended the owner of a local wine and cheese shop where I usually hit at least one happy hour or tasting a week. I'm very laid back, and love discussing, disecting, and debating ideas such as politics, religion, world peace, etc. etc. If you have strong opinions that's fine by me, as long as we can have a mutually enjoyable, healthy discussion where we can both part friends. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't really care if you are Republican, Democrat, Christian, Muslim, Atheist, or think that world peace is something unattainable--we can still be friends. I respect honesty, integrity, and compassion, and that is what you will get from me. If you visit Charleston, I'd love to have drinks/dinner, so don't hesitate to contact me.

PHILOSOPHY

"Overspecialize and you breed in weakness."

In other words: With Diversity comes strength.

Music, Movies, and Books

Soooooo many books. Don't watch much TV but I do enjoy Top Chef and Lost. The last movie I saw was 'The Watchmen' and it was awesome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever seen was a group of workers at a spinning Cooperative in Nicaragua. They are a group of about 30 workers (all women) who work harder then most men do. They are working to build their future, their childrens future, and a future for their country. They are amazing women.
