Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I`m not sure why I`m on this website? I`ve sent out over 150 requests in various locations over the last 12 months and only 2 people have accepted. One of them was near to where I live. So far I`m just a free Airbnb. It becomes less fun every time I send out a request and then get declined over and over.

I like meeting new people and I also like to travel. I know what it`s like to be in a foreign country and not know anything about the area. I also like to travel on a budget so I can see more and travel for longer but I`m not a user or a taker!! You see more when you stay with locals.
I`m proud of where I live and proud of my house so I like the thought of sharing this experience. I`d love to show you around the area as much as you want and or as much as I can. I don`t have a car and transport is limited where I live but I`ll do what I can. Or you can just stay and I`ll stay out of your way!!
