ABOUT ME

A bit of a free spirit, I am open to new possibilities and purpose(s).

PHILOSOPHY

"Truth does not exist in words; truth is inherent in the self." -Osho

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend introduced me to this site and philosophy a few years back and I love it! I've found it an incredible way to engage with interesting people from all over the world & share in our pilgrimages about the planet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting! Maybe someday will hit my first as a surfer...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a handful of times. Each experience brought me a positive charge and left me with the gift of cool new friends and fresh insights about the art of living.

Interests

Yoga, philosophy, wellness, meditation, the human condition, the unhuman condition, & spending time w/kindred spirits. Organic happy food, travel, creating, refinishing cabinets, the unconventional, and learning of others' experiences, stories, and perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some Favorites (Books): The Untethered Soul, The Surrender Experiment, The Yoga Sutras (interpretations), No Ordinary Moments, In the Heart of the Sea.

Music: Kundalini yoga tunage, kirtan, acoustic & more...
Movies: Finding Joe, Thrive (haven't really watched anything new in a long time)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013, I quit my job and bought a one way ticket to India (thought I might stay 3-6 months.) I returned 14 months later.

Even crazier — Once I was the cook for a "teen tour," traveling and camping w/40 teens for 40 days/nts from NY to Cali. Yeah… craaaazy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: yoga (kundalini, vinyasa, or hatha)

Share: Cup of tea. Coffee if you ask real nice. A hike, bike ( I do have an extra here!), yoga, meditation, TED talks, singing bowls, stories, perspectives, fresh happy refreshments (not a drinker or 420er though).

LEARN/DO: Spanish, Hindi, Salsa, Japanese Jujitsu. Photography. Acro yoga (or just "airplane" lol), travels. TED talks. Astrology/astrological charts. Ayahuasca curious.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Adventures & Stories. A treasure or two. Space & time. Yoga. Tea.
