ABOUT ME

My last couple jobs were camp counselor, UCLA medical research intern, and a snake handler. I'm a med student right now, and a Wilderness EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and MCAT teacher at Colorado College/DU/UCCS. (I feel like this makes me look way less lazy than I actually am...I also eat licorice for breakfast and watch the dumbest TV shows you've ever seen. ) I just started teaching for the CU premed wilderness medicine classes (omg I can't believe they're letting me) and I'm so excited! There's a week of backpacking with each class, I can't believe I roped myself a med school credit that is literally 50% backpacking! Last, I'm doing high altitude research trying to find something that works way better than diamox, right now I'm trying to get funding for marijuana to see if that, alongside other meds, makes rats' high altitude sickness better or worse ( if you have any connections please let me know:) Since a federal grant funds our research, it won't cover that...haha I gotta admit asking for government money to get rats high does sound hilarious.)

Interests

The outdoors, spelunking, climbing, playing in fountains, cooking, new experiences, new people, dogs, all animals in general except mosquitos who should be murdered slowly and painfully, urban exploration, Jeep CJs/Wranglers, photography, conversation, running, hiking, anything in water. And candy, obviously. Candy is important.
