ABOUT ME

This is who I am as of September 11, 2016

My name is Wally. I have lived in Colorado most of my life, but have also spent extended amounts of time in California and New Zealand. As far as Colorado goes, I've lived all over it. I currently live in Denver. I am the Director of Content for a comedy company called Sexpot Comedy. We put on local comedy shows and produce video and audio content for online distribution. My job is pretty rad and is definitely full of humor. Before that I spent about 10 years working in radio. I share a small house right by the dog food factory here in Denver with four amazing people and an equally amazing dog. I like to ride my bicycle and love to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed all over New Zealand and have hosted people from various places all over the world. I think all of the continents minus Antarctica.

Interests

Singing, playing the guitar, bicycling, writing, watching movies, making movies, drawing, cartooning, hanging out with friends, traveling, camping, and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I spent years working for an independent community radio station, so my musical choices are about as eclectic as they come. I do have a soft spot in my heart for rock and roll. Specifically stuff from the sixty's. My favorite modern bands are Grizzly Bear, Dr. Dog, Black Keys, Delta Spirit and the Moondoggies. I mainly like older music though.

I can teach you some chords on the guitar, I'd like to learn pretty much anything anyone is willing to teach, just let me know what it is, and I'm willing to share my home with you for at least a couple of days.
