I am a stand up comedian, writer, skateboarder and builder. Since the fall of 2017 I’ve been traveling in pursuit of a full time career in comedy. In June of last year I won a national stand up contest for Laffy Taffy and used the winnings to complete my goal of performing in all 50 states.

Normally to make money I work in construction. I’ve built a couple of houses and a bunch of wooden skateboard structures in Vermont, and in 2016 I traveled the country for the year building concrete skateparks with Artisan Skateparks. I also regularly volunteer on DIY skatepark projects when my schedule allows.

Couchsurfing is a wonderful organization of interesting individuals and I am so thankful that it exists. I’ve got an extensive network of comedians and skateboarders that I often stay with, however I really enjoy meeting new people who are pursuing other things, and learning about their city through their eyes.

I write, meditate, tell jokes and take walks on a daily basis. I really enjoy comedy, music and poetry open mics. I love to explore cities on foot, skateboard or bicycle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel for most of the year, and I really enjoy seeing a place through a permanent residents eyes. I love showing people around the places I grew up, and nothing beats having that favor returned from others along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As of October 2018, I’ve told jokes in all 50 states. The venues include 2 Vermont State Prisons, Baltimore street corners, Seattle elementary schools, the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, Yellowstone National Park, and the McDonalds PlayPlace in Roswell New Mexico. I pride myself on being able to connect with almost anyone and get a laugh with a quick clean joke.
