I started to solo travel from 2010. But actually I found that we couldn't say it's solo or independent since we will eventually find companies and get help from people.

I majored in oil painting in the uni until one day I realised I want to become a graphic designer. Why? because I can work wherever I am!!!!! And also arts with messages such as packaging, posters, and branding are attractive for me, therefore when I travel, a must-visit place for me is local markets.

After visiting Amsterdam, where I experienced my first couchsurfing, I found my dreamland. For years, I was studying and working toward this dream, and then it ended up living in Australia now .(what??!!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read about CS in a book. At that time I hadn't been to anywhere beside Taiwan. In 2010, I travelled in West Europe, and surfed a couch in Amsterdam, met other couchsurfers, explored the city with locals, ride bike wandering the beautiful and bloody complicated canal web. I sensed it's the way I like to travel in the future.

And from 2015-2016, I shared a flat with friends, we had a craziest good time of hosting backpackers. During the peak time, we even hosted 4 (or 5?!) in total!! Moreover, as I know, four of them moved to Taiwan after their trips.

1 day before my journey to south east Asia, I decided to fly to Europe with a friend for the birthday. Without any plan and luggages, right from the airport. And then I flied back in one day, such an exhausted but unforgettable trip.
