ABOUT ME

A Portland Na

I'm 19, but most of my friends are between 25 and 40 years old.
I was born and raised in Portland, OR, and found after some time that that actually made me a minority in Portland. Nearly everyone i meet is not actually a Portland native, and I've always found that interesting.
I am a very friendly fun guy. I'm athletic and active, but also very outgoing and relaxed in a more quiet setting.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not religious or spiritual, but I believe strongly in following a naturally positive path. I don't adhere to any established school of thought or philosophy, and prefer to simply do what I feel is right, and be a genuinely interested and caring person to everyone i meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am mostly interested in simply hosting interesting, friendly people passing through, stopping in, leaving, or even needing a quick place to stay in Portland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CouchSurfing experience when I went out very late one night and decided not to come home until daybreak. out skating around seattle i met two people at a late night cafe who had no place to stay, so i offered my place nearby, and it ended up being a very exciting experience getting to know them. They told me about the site and convinced me to join!

I've hosted awesome people from all over the world- Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Bangladesh, Thailand, and more as well as from around the states including D.C, Florida, and New York

I love good books, but my main passion lies in Graphic novels.

I love lots of movies, and especially enjoy documentaries, arthouse films, comedies, stand up, and sci fi.

I have ridden my longboard (a large transportation-form skateboard) 123 miles in 10 hours. My next goal is 200 miles in 20.
