About Me

I listen to a lot of music and frequently travel for shows.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed for the first time back in March 2014 and it turned out way better than I could have imagined. My host and I hit it off very well and had a great time. Hoping to have more wonderful experiences in the near future.
In May 2015 I hit up a guy last minute who was willing to host me in Kansas City. He lived on the 7th floor of this Edgar Allen Poe museum which was bizarre but very interesting. He's a great guy and even left his place to me for the night while he crashed with his girlfriend.
July 2015 I went up to Chicago for Pitchfork Music Festival and stayed with another guy who was also going to the same fest. He turned out to be a good friend who I still stay in touch and stay with every time I am in Chicago.
I have yet to host anyone as no one has contacted me/I haven't been actively seeking anyone to host. That and my roommate tends to not want to host.
Interests
Listening to a lot of music and podcasts, reading, exploring, and focusing on my career.
I try to find hosts a lot so feel free to stalk me on social media if you need to get a better idea of who I am

Music, Movies, and Books
Music I could talk about for hours, it's my favorite thing in life. If you want check out my last.fm http://www.last.fm/user/For3st_Gosp3l
But a summary of what I listen to, Animal Collective, The Beach Boys, The Microphones, Wild Nothing, Flying Lotus
Movies: Wes Anderson films, Paul Thomas Anderson, Ingmar Bergman, Lars Von Trier, Godard...I tend to like the auteur directors a lot
Books: 1984, The Great Gatsby, The Martian Chronicles, Heart of Darkness, All Quiet on the Western Front, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a trip on the west coast. Started in LA and drove up Highway 1 (along the coast) to Portland.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories about my experiences with Couchsurfing which all 3 times I've done it have been fantastic so far. If you like music I can talk about that all day.
Return the favor with buying you a drink, dinner, etc. Seriously as a poor college student trying to travel not having to pay for a room is amazing.
