我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I plan on taking a trip across the US by the end of 2018! I want to move to LA and work on acting. On my way, I want to film a documentary showcasing the journey. My parents have a semi-negative outlook on strangers and meeting new people, so I want to prove to myself (and them) that the world is a much happier, positive place than they perceive.

Music: Pop, Rock, Pop Rock, Alternative, Beach, Oldies: 40's-60's, 80's, Musicals, Comedy, etc. (Dislike: heavy metal, screamo, grunge, most rap)

Movies: Baby Driver (really anything Edgar Wright), Avatar, Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Fantastic Mr. Fox (really anything Wes Anderson), La La Land, Mr. Right, Bringing Up Baby, etc. I'm trying to showcase a broad relationship with film. There's very little I don't like. (Dislike: Horror Gore (War Gore is okay))

Books: Harry Potter series, Lightning Thief series, Hunger Games series, Ranger's Apprentice series, Educational books, etc. (I don't read as much as I used to. I'm trying to get back into it.)

I went skydiving in August 2017. It was a lot of fun.
