I'm backpacking around the world for an entire year! Going everywhere that seems interesting or fun or adventurous along the way. Learning about the cities, cultures, and people I meet, and finding ways to help make the world a better place whenever I can.

I used to have a desk job, but decided that I needed a big change. So I quit my job and I've started traveling full time. I love exploring new places - I really like architecture and built urban patterns, but also just enjoy a day of good food and beer. I'm a voracious learner - I like reading about science, space travel, history, cultures, and more!

I've made new friends every time I've traveled, and now that I'm embarking on a worldwide trip, I'm excited to meet even more people. Eventually I want to settle down somewhere and be able to repay all the kindness by being a host too!

Meeting people and learning how they enjoy living their lives. Finding and sharing new music with new friends! Going to little concerts and going to big concerts. Burns, and volunteering to help with building and events in general.
Road trips with the windows down, or on the back of a motorcycle.
Cooking! I've been way too lax about learning and practicing this vital life skill 😅 now that I have a lot of free time and I'm traveling, I'm hungry for more cooking practice and learning tips and dishes from people around the world.
Eventually, more photography! I currently just occasionally take photos with my cell phone, but try to post the ones I like on my instagram: vagabondcolt

I know a lot about tech, and am pretty handy with a set of tools. I want to learn more about the physical world and navigating it - botany, agronomy, geology, hiking, sailing, flying. Also, more dancing!
