ABOUT ME

Hey all! My name is Cameron. I am from Columbus, Ohio, USA. I go to school in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm a really nice guy who is excited to get to see the world this summer as it will most likely be my first and last chance to travel Europe as a youth. Anyway, I love playing and watching sports, meeting new people and am really excited about couch surfing this summer for some of the time that I spend abroad. I am not very well travelled, but I certainly hope to change that. It's never too late, right?

PHILOSOPHY

Experience is everything. Learning information and facts are great, but really getting your hands dirty is what creates awesome experiences, lasting memories, and lifelong learning.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet people during my travels abroad, get coffee, get advice on the best places to go in various cities. I am travelling with my sister this summer, so we both look forward to do lots of interesting things as a family!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, personally, but a lot of my friends have couch surfed in the past and had a wonderful experience!

Interests

I am in medical school. I love watching sports, especially soccer. I went to The Ohio State University and love cheering on their sports teams. I love playing cards, going out for drinks, getting lost in foreign cities, drinking coffee, watching movies, playing sports/games, and much more...

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter Movies, V for Vendetta, The Italian Job, Hoosiers, The Breakfast Club, Iron Man, The Artist, Almost any cheest horror film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the Domican Republic, I had a wonderful experience providing medical care for impoverished families in La Romana, DR. It was a wonderful experience and marks the only chance I have had to travel outside the US.

Teach, Learn, Share

Things I enjoy: singing, playing sports (US sports), anything dealing with medical issues haha! I am decent with anything creative: photography, drawing, any sort of craft. I enjoy theatre too.

Things I would love to learn: Generally: anything. Ignorance is a terrible thing and I want to learn as much as possible. Obviously I would love to learn about sports I've never experienced abroad. I want to be thrust into a culture and have a great experience!
