I am a Textile/Creative designer, Laurens is a programmer. We met 18 years ago... The first time we went on vacation together, we went camping in France. The second year we went to Sri Lanka... And then we could not stop travelling anymore....
After 10 years we decided to get married because our live together was 1 adventure. We do not have kids and because of that we travel all over the world, whenever we can.
We have visited several countries, we met so many people and we were lucky to have such good experiences.
We love to sport, I did kickboxing. Laurens did triathlon. We still do fitness, running and bicycling.
If we are not working we are going for a ride with the motorcycle.
Life is great, especially if you can share it with your best friend.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because we only have 20 vacation days a year; foreign people inviting to our home, would help us to fight the 'travel blues' and gives us new info and opportunities for our next vacation.
We throughly believe that meeting and talking to foreign people enrich you more. You see things different and positive. You become a bigger individual.
We like to invite people, and feel themselves welcome in our home. That feeling is so special...

Marry my husband, Laurens Penners!!!
And walking the Laugavegur trail in Iceland this summer.
It was the first time we hiked for 3 days with a backpack of 15kg. We walked through snow, sand, volcano dust and rivers. At night, we slept in our tiny tent in the wild. The scenery was amazing and we met fantastic people along the way. And on top of the bill, we had perfect weather; only sunshine! As this is one of the most beautiful trails in the world, I would recommend this to everyone. Something for the bucketlist....

We love animals and nature. So if you have a dog, I will be his/her best friend (after his/her massage...hihi)
I love cooking, so I am always in to prepare a meal for my host as a 'thank you' for having us in their home.
We are quiet and polite. We have respect for our host and his/her house rules.
And of course, every host is our guest! Welcome to stay with us when he/she wants to visit Belgium.
