About Me
Hi there!
My name is Côme, and I'm a full-time student in France. I currently study Energy engineering and environment, two majors that I love. I think it can help fight for the Earth, and I hope I will do so.
Some things about myself:
I like joking and laughing. Who doesn't?!
If you're one day my guest: that's not just for a couch, but also for at least talking or sharing a drink. So if you just want a place to sleep, I'm the wrong guy. But if you wanna share and have fun, you're welcome!
If I'm your guest, you should know that I'm not very demanding, and I won't bother you, except for at least discussing a little. If you're up for going out for a drink, a walk, a visit, a meal together (or whatever!), I'm in!
Last thing:
I love my hometown, Lyon! If you plan to live in France, just go there. It's big beautiful, and you will always have something to do!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had only one couchsurfing experiment, and I spent a very nice time with my hosts. We made a tour of their farm, and had some nice talks at the evening.
I find that couchsurfing is a great way to combine several things: discovering new places and cities, by meeting their inhabitants and living with them.
I didn't just sleep at their house, but I met them, and learned new things about the city and the region. I really enjoyed it.
So why wouldn't I keep couchsurfing?
I did not have any guest for the moment. May be soon?
Interests
I'm used to practice sport (running and swimming mostly). I just discovered squash recently, and it's quite an interesting game, even if I loose everytime we play for the moment! But it won't last!
Last year I was committed in different associations, as the Scouts, or the Red Cross. I met very nice people there, and even if I will stop next year, I had a great time with them.
Otherwise, I like walking and hitchhiking during my holidays. When I have holidays though. Be a student is great for that!
What else? hmm... I like nature and green stuffs. That's always to get out for a walk, see some trees, instead of staying in my room.

Music, Movies, and Books
Country! And funk. Definitely. For the rest, it depends on the mood. I like some jazz sometimes.
Books: The Godfather. It's one of a kind!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Toronto for five months! It's one thing from which I learned a lot. I was alone in a big new city, and spoke barely the language... I just had to build all from the beginning. That's pretty tough sometimes, but that's how we learn!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to juggle. I don't know if that's very interesting though...^^ However, if you wanna learn, we can give it a shot!
PhIlOsOpHy
I like sharing ideas, opinions and knowledge. I think we'd never know enough about our neighbours, and why they think other ways. That's why respecting everybody is important.
I'm a bit environmentalist too, and a bit vegetarian as well.
"Try to leave the Earth a better place than when you arrived" summarizes well my thoughts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A drink, a meal, a visit of the place, the dinner and/or the breakfast, etc. I like cooking too, so if you want to try some french foods, I can try to do something=)
It depends on the situation, and from what people are expecting. I'm not myself very demanding, as long as we share at least a talk. But the more we share, the better it is.
