i'm not very good with last minute requests though i love to host, just try letting me know at least two weeks before you get here, otherwise i might go offline and miss it.

my cultural idols are: Nikolai Fyodorov, Ahad Ha'am, El Cid and Josephus. i'm also into Gnosticism.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

hosting, mainly, since i don't go abroad that often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have met interesting people of various types: from teenage anarchists to religio-motivated pilgrims visiting the holy land. i'm actually proud of my ability to approach those who come from different backgrounds and i wanna elaborate it.

兴趣

i'm a patient, open minded person and a social-democrat political activist. i speak english, hebrew, turkish, and some russian and arabic as well. would love to get some sense of other languages. i'm seriously into european history, literature, queer theory and global communities. though i've known couchsurfing for years through flatmates and friends, this is my 1st time actually using it myself. sadly i go abroad very seldom because my studies and work don't leave me much time for it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

LOL still pending i guess... well i do remember one incident in which i got back to my hostel in the german city of Munster. i was drunk, it was halloween night 2 AM or such. i saw a christian graveyard all decorated with pumpkins, lanterns etc... i started gently wandering around there taking photos. a policeman on patrol came to ask what is it i'm doing there. we spoke some english and i told him i was just amazed by the decorations, we don't have it in israel, and i've always thought halloween was just an american thing.... he was quite nice actually when he realised i was just a traveller.

each time i see/hear the word "share" i'm immediately reminded of the hilarious asian trix commercial from family guy. guess that really says something about my nature, though maybe not that positive :-/
