About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My first time as host.

ABOUT ME

Things aren't right or wrong, just different. That's I learned about life and the world until now. And I'm still learning...

Discovering the world is my passion. I'm not mainstream and I like people which aren't mainstream. But I think couchsurfers are generally not that :-)

I like to brunch and talk and listen.
I like to travel and meet people from all over the world.
I love to cook, especially new things I have never tasted before.
I'm interested in so many things that I read mostly several books at the same time.
Sometimes I need the peace in the wood. Sometimes I need the turbulences of a lively city.
In the morning my brain must have a coffee. Without it will not start to work. My sense of orientation is not really good, but with a map or GPS there is no problem.
I was a passionate skier. But after an accident where I had a bad injury on my head I'm looking for someone how can help me to get over my discomfort with it.

PHILOSOPHY

Intensity of life is important, not the length. Satisfaction you can only find when you do things which fulfill your passion, your desires. Explore yourself and live your life! Be the designer of your life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm offering my couch and time to those who are visiting Duesseldorf. I will be happy to host you, show you around or simply have a cup of coffee or tea and chat with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered Asian and Europa per couchsurfing over another association. I lived in families of the respective lands. Longest time was two month in Tokyo. For me traveling as tourist in hotels is like scroll in sightseeing books. I made the experience that exploring the "real life" give you the possibility to learn about the world, the life on it and about yourself.

I love to remember my time in Japan with my family there. At first sight they were totally different and at the second sight they had the same dreams about life. With the mother of the family I found immediately a deep connection. I traveled around the half of planet to find a person with the same soul. It touched my heart and shows how wonderful the life is.

Interests

The most exciting journey is the journey to myself. To identify who I'm and which talents and skills I have and where I leave my mark after my life it's important for me.

I support an volunteer association against cancer. Unfortunately not everyone has enough time to discover the world. I hope I can change that situation a little bit.

Also I'm a board member of a volunteer association which helps children to develop their art talents.
