ABOUT ME

I made different studies which I finished all 1 after the other - 1) Teacher for German Language and Literature, for Psychology and Philosophy, 2) Arts Administration and Management of Cultural Affairs, 3) Export Management and International Business Operations, 4) Master of Advanced Studies in International Management.
During my studies I worked every summer in a bookstore and during the years with different cultural non-profit associations in my region. Most of the time I worked as a light- and soundtechnician. when I finished my first study I worked as a teacher for 1 year which the state have to give you to get your licence as a teacher. After this year all the teacher jobs were occupied and I started to work in the marketing department of an Austrian bank in Croatia.
I worked for this bank until the end of 2010 and stopped just because of health problems (I can tell you about it when we meet in person). Meaning since 1.1.2011 I am retired and want to travel as much as possible!
I am very open to other cultures and mentalities what helped me a lot during my residence in Portugal (1 year) and Croatia (4,5 years).
I am a very good listener and I am very emphatic. I have no problem in accepting other opinions and to compromise. I like very much when people criticize myself in an open way - of course if they have a purpose for it. I do not like talking behind somebody´s back - it takes you the chance to change.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I had one great experience in surfing on Cabo Verde in May 2011. Unfortunately surfing in Australia is not working at all as people just dont answer your requests:-(
I also had one good experience in hosting 2 guys from Germany!

Interests

I am reading a lot since my childhood, listening nearly all kind of music - I prefer sounds from Latin America and Cuba and some kind of Jazz and Blues. Photography is a hobby and I like very much to go to the cinema, the theater and concerts or other cultural happenings.

Can not specify one - did a lot of thinks which were amazing: diving, bungee jumping, skydive,....
