ABOUT ME

Musician and composer... I write music generally for classically trained musicians but started as a rock/funk drummer and currently am running a quartet performing a broad mix of folk songs from around the world. Check out my web site if you like.

Born and raised in New York... one of my favorite regular experiences there was riding the subway and looking at the variety of faces I could see there. It's a powerful and poignant reminder of the beauty in the world.

Currently living and working on the Baltic coast in Latvia.

I'm open-minded, non-judgmental and love a good conversation. I'm on the left politically. Can't stand George Bush and can't wait to cast my vote for Obama. Marathon, Burning Man and Santa Con veteran.

PHILOSOPHY

Religious or not, I believe that the Serenity Prayer can pretty much keep you, well, SERENE in most situations.

Reading (I alternate typically between something fiction and something non. The non-fiction is usually science of history.). Music (obviously). Film (I used to see a lot more Indie film in NY. Now it's mostly downloading). Travel (when I can).
Indian food junkie (I'm seriously deprived here in Latvia).
