About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Changing the world can wait. Changing myself is hard enough...
ABOUT ME
I’m a rather introverted individual, and I'm generally a fairly ‘simple’ and rational guy.
I also have a few contradictory traits. I’m a bit nerdy, but I very much prefer face-to-face conversations to internet chat. I enjoy sports, but don’t like watching or talking about them. Go figure.
There's probably more, but I'm an 'efficient' person (which, as far as uni is concerned, is just another word for lazy...)
But summed up, I’m easygoing, and love new experiences and challenges.
PHILOSOPHY
To die happy, even if I die young.
But if I somehow happen to grow old and wrinkly, I hope I wont regret my youthful misadventures. Well, not too much...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I unfortunately don’t have a couch atm.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None to this date.
Interests
For quite some time, I’ve been deeply interested in photography and travelling. I love seeing, experiencing and then photographing new places.
I however, tend to pick up hobbies, attain a certain level of ability, then abandon them in the search for a new challenge. Recently I’ve taken up windsurfing. In the past, I was crazy about scuba diving and playing the guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoyed Momento and The Usual Suspects. I have a nasty habit of fast forwarding tacky segments. If a movie lacks a twisting plotline or intriguing characters, I’ll either mutter and snicker throughout the film, or I’ll simply skip through half the storyline. A lack of a remote and a fast forward option means I tend to stay away from cinemas…
On the rare occasions that I actually read, I prefer non-fiction. Really enjoyed Jack: Straight from the Gut.
I mostly listen to metal. Gangster inspired Hip Hop doesn't really sit well with me. Addicted to Morcheeba.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ran down the great wall of China (Simatai). Bare foot. In the middle of winter. Had a tourist take a photo of me and my feet immediately after.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know an obscenely unhealthy amount about computers and cameras. Most of it is essentially useless knowledge, but I can give a few pointers if needed.
