About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, discuss, share, and grow. And to eat a lot of foreign dessert.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old American girl, trying to see as much of the world and find as many of its treasures as possible. I've lived in Italy, France, and Turkey and can't wait to meet my next adopted home.

I love architecture, dogs, fresh bread, fruit and gardening. I love artisans of all kinds, and anything handmade. Give me coffee and a pencil and paper, and I'm happy.

PHILOSOPHY

listen first. talk second.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hearing about Couch Surfing for ages, and have many friends who participate. Due to my living situation, I'm unable to offer a couch of my own, but would be more than delighted to meet anyone for a drink and share my knowledge and appreciation of anywhere I've been. I would be even more excited to hear other people's experiences.

Interests

ceramics, calligraphy, mosaics, door knockers, architecture, knitting, Latin, baking, cooking, block printing, paper marbling, big hair, tea time, antiquated art instruments, book binding, yoga, photography, and fruit hunting

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just took part in an International Pillow Fight. It was... AWESOME.

Teach, Learn, Share

I never leave the country without:
-a glue stick
-a small roll of electrical tape
-my swiss army knife
-a book

I've spent a lot of time traveling alone, and I think I understand myself most when I'm somewhere unfamiliar.

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom
