ABOUT ME

As a teenager I wanted to end the Cold War and I did, so now rest on my laurels--well, not quite, the world still far from perfect and life has been a humbling experience, but I still find it stimulating and entertaining. I love people's stories and how they make choices in life.

PHILOSOPHY

I see so many problems in the world but try to have fun anyway as being happy is very good for your health. I love a good laugh and, whilst I am passionate about my beliefs, I have a great fear of being earnest. There is something quite comical about the human condition and the grim reaper who awaits us all.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am addicted to books and just try to say no (though rarely succeed). I prefer character-led books and films rather than plot-led. I prefer my music live. Theatre and live music are what absorb my money once the bills sustaining mere existence are paid.
