ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing person, very curious to know other cultures and history. I love good conversations while sharing a cup of coffee (or wine)!

I'm also very interested in learning local food recipes and visiting no touristy places to savour a tiny bit of proper local experience when travelling.

I've made some very good friends through Couchsurfing and I believe in the beauty of meeting new people :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Update 2022: I cannot host right now. In the past I used to organise events in the Kitchen Surfing group which always resulted in interesting cultural experiences but have not been using Couchsurfing a lot in the past couple of years.
I also love to meet people visiting the country when I am free and I try to give tips and infos about places in London and Rome, the two cities I know best.

I love the CS idea and the few people I hosted were fabulous!

Interests

Cooking is one of my big passions and I like trying food I haven't eaten before. Of course since I'm here I love traveling; learning from other cultures and explore new local places.

Some other interests are: learning languages, reading biographies and history books, having very long walks (I recently started Nordic Walking and I'm enjoying it).
Oh! I love cats and all animals generally, I have volunteered for few years at Celia Hammond Trust.

Books: In Asia, Dreams from my father, Nothing to envy, Desert Flower, One Hundred years of Solitude, Il fu Mattia Pascal, Small Island, Long Walk to Freedom, Wild Swans, Falling Leaves. The list is long!
One of my favourite films is "Life is beautiful"; my music: Blues, pop, jazz, classic, rock and progressive ( Pink Floyd being my favourite band of all! )

I can teach Italian of course! But I can also help in cooking, and I like learning other countries' dishes!
