About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet people with different cultures/languages than my own and exchange knowledge about our ways of living.

Couchsurfing experience:
I was introduced to couchsurfing from a friend of mine that was doing erasmus in Portugal, and we did 2 amazing trips in some European cities. Since then, I introduced some friends of mine who traveled with me.

To pay back the hospitality, I started hosting people and It has been a passion of mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't think this is important to share because this is not a dating website.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well is not that amazing but I once hiked through an abandoned rail [Pocinho - Barca D'Alva - La Frageneda] with lots of abandoned bridges and even a tunnel full of bats. if you wanna do it look for "Rota dos tuneis", the landscape is really amazing.

First time hosting, I hosted 11 persons in a week and took 3 of my surfers for an one-day hiking trip to the mountain of Lousã.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can point you to visit cool places in the center region of Portugal.

If you are in Coimbra area, check for Aldeias de Xisto da Lousã, Montemor-o-velho castle (surrounded by rice fields), Serra da Boa Viagem and Luso/Bussaco, for good hiking trips, easy to access by public transportation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

* Listen to music from different audiophile headphones and vinyls I own
* Cook vegetarian dishes with asian flavours
* Always have tons of teas and herbal infusions ready for my guests
* Showing cool spots in Porto outside of the touristic area
* Join a local meetup with me, like this one https://www.meetup.com/pt-BR/Porto-Internationals/ where I participate a lot
