Why I’m on Couchsurfing

...Because hotels are expensive, predictable, they don't tell you how the rooms of ordinary citizens look like and they don't let you to live through adventure.
...Because even though sometimes I hesitate to go to CS meetings where I don't know anybody, but when I do, I really enjoy crazy stories of travellers

I've seen a room of the 'lux' class in Ivangorod (Russia), it was terribly amazing :(
