About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To grow through connection and hold space for myself and others to live without shame 🌊🌀🍄
ABOUT ME
I am a considerate, enthusiastic, and compassionate queer Canadian looking to make the most out of life and learn in this world.
Excitedly looking to meet as many people as possible as I make my way around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live. Let's celebrate connection!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because the experiences, and the people that I have met continue to change my life.
Their generosity, openness, enthusiasm for life inspire me to grow and be more open :)
It is the ultimate crash-course in meeting amazing people, in amazing places.
Interests
My interests are rooted in understanding and explanding how to be in this world, but not of this world.
You will find me dancing, cooking and leading with compassion.
Below is an old excerpt from profile, it feels fitting to keep as a frame of where I have been, to where I am now.
"I am honestly trying to become more vulnerable with my interests. Growing up I was always afraid to open my self up, or bed bad at something in fear of being judge.
I am actively, and enthusiastically broadening my interests and having fun along the way!"

Music, Movies, and Books
My philosophy is that there are amazing music, books, and movies in every genre!
Music: I love powerful vocals, folk with a twist, and classics from every decade!
Movies: Anything (almost) by Quentin Tarantino, Studio Ghibli, Wes Anderson.
Books: Calvin and Hobbes, Hatchet - open to expanding my literary spread.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Botswana, Africa for 8 months in the last year of my University degree (International Development).
In my time I was able to:
-Work full-time at a social enterprise - helping with their marketing and business development
-Travel through Zambia by bus to Tanzania for new years!
-Drive down to South Africa (Johannesburg).
- Go on wonderful Safaris.
-Live and work in the closet as a gay man (illegal to be gay in Botswana).
Teach, Learn, Share
I may not have many "hard" skills (carpentry, plumbing, etc.) to provide - but I enjoy cooking, philosophy etc!
Love talking to people and trying to give a unique perspective!
