About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To survive my travels on minimal funds without completely slumming it.
ABOUT ME
Quitting my 9-5 cubicle job, moving out of my apartment, selling all of my crap, doing some breaking and entering (just joking), and fighting tooth and nail to do whatever I can to get to New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa. I plan to WWOOF, surf, hitch, ride, swim, walk, drive and crawl across NZ for a year.
PHILOSOPHY
The Dude abides.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While traveling in Ireland with friends, we rented a houseboat for a week to travel down a river out in the countryside. Somehow (and I still don't know how) we managed to go down the wrong branch of the river and get our houseboat stuck on a rock, miles from the nearest town. One of my friends swam and then hiked several miles into town for help. Before we knew it, half of this little town had come to see the stupid Americans who got their boat stuck. After a full day stuck on the river some farmers eventually came with their tractors and pulled us free in the middle of the night. It was exciting, funny and painfully embarrassing at the same time.
