Overview
About Me
Im 20, part time bar staff at BrewDog and full time activist. I moved to Leeds last year for education, and stuck around for the people. I'm a pretty social person but won't be offended if you tell me to quiet down! I enjoy the arts and live music. Skillsharing is wonderful also. If you want to get in touch then drop me a message on instagram @the_doll_thief_ and I'm more likely to see it :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel like staying with hosts instead of in a hotel or hostel is a more genuine way to explore new places. I also believe in paying it forward and want to help fellow travellings as much as possible! Although I've not really used couch surfing much before but it seems like a wonderful resource
Interests
Over the past year I've become involved with the global climate justice movement. This takes up most of my time but outside of this I like to make art and music. I play a few instruments, i wield paintbrushes expertly (sort of) and listen to lots of podcasts on a range of topics. Food is wonderful, as is craft beer, both of these things together and youre onto something special! I enjoy walking in both nature and urban spaces too

Music, Movies, and Books
My heart exploded a little bit when i heard my chemical romance are reforming, when im not being a massive emo kid i listen to a lot of folky/acoustic tunes, but im also super into metal (weird i know). I read lots of short storoes because my attention span isn't great. I like stories about the universe and asking big questions. Also biographies are pretty cool. My favourite film is possibly lord of the rings, or maybe the first kill bill movie? Maybe das Leben der Anderen, although its a bit glum at times!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Joining Youth Strike and Extinction Rebellion has been life changing. It's given me a lot of confidence, its also been a hige reality check at times. Supporting my friends and standing up for my beliefs during various protests across the UK as been an incredible experience so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love listening to and sharing stories and pieces of history and culture, as well as art and music. I could teach you a cool skill or craft, make you something material or even cook some nice food!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Arts and crafts are my forte, also i can cook pretty well! I'd be happy to do odd jobs and that sort of thing, help out where needed. I know hosting someone for any length of time isn't cheap and I'd be happy to send some pennies as a thank you <3
