ABOUT ME

I'm living in the very cool, happening town of Clarksdale, MS where the Blues was born. I moved back here after spending about 10 years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After dropping out of the corporate world years ago I began teaching yoga and meditation.

I love travel and I love hosting friends and showing them around the Mississippi Delta. This is a very unique place to live and we have a number of blues festivals a year.

I am interested in visiting Scotland, Bali, Bhutan, Tibet, Australia and New Zealand, but am open to wherever the wind blows and the next exciting opportunity.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. And as the Dalai Lama says, my religion is kindness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met some great people through couchsurfing and I'm happy to open my home to those who are interested in the Mississippi Delta and Blues, or are just otherwise passing through and don't know about our unique history yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Signed up for couch surfing on a Friday and had 2 couch surfers stay with me on that Saturday during our Juke Joint Blues Festival. It was a wonderful experience, and we even let two Canadians stay too!
