What's going on peeps around the world!

I'm Connery, and I have found this site in hopes to not only have a place to crash while I travel Europe, but to also meet some amazing people and make some great friends across the globe! I am also a pretty hardcore nerd, but enjoy playing/watching Futbol.

I am going to be studying abroad in the fall of 2015, and will be leaving a month ahead of my semester to travel across Europe. This would probably be the biggest reasons I joined Couchsurfing, so that I can find people to hangout with/show me around while I'm exploring Europe before the semester begins.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only does it save a bit of money, but an opportunity to become friends with people not in my city? It's a double bonus! I'm hopefully going to find more people who are going to the Hardstyle festivals in the Netherlands (specifically Decibel, Q-BASE, and Bass Leader) so if you're into that kind of music, let me know asap!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I'm very much into the EDM scene, but I'm more focused on Hardstyle, Liquid Drum n' Bass, Glitch Hop, and a bit of Trap. Aside from that, I will listen to anything that I find good, so throw me some songs and I'll look them up :)

Movies - To be honest, I don't watch all that many movies. The ones I like though are Star Wars, LOTR, Austin Powers, and a few others I can't think of.

Books - The Art of War :P, books by Drew Karpyshyn, Metro series, etc.

TV - Archer, Futurama, Firefly, The League,and others I can't think of

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled a lot as a child because of my dad being stationed in Germany and my grandmother visiting a lot when we lived there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make friends almost instantly.

I want to learn about cultures, not from a tourists standpoint, but from the standpoint of someone who lives there.

I'm more than willing to share conversations and stories. Plus advice on how to be like me (if you want to be like me :P)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm learning to cook, so potentially a pretty awesome dish or two? :)
I'm also willing to teach cultures from other areas I've been and stories on moments of my life and where I've been. Plus if you have animals, I will be more than willing to watch them if you need to do something without them (I am an animal lover :P)
