My roots are German and England is my other home having lived here half my life so I'm an "in-betweeny". Home is where the heart is and that could be anywhere and after 4 months of Incredible India it's beautiful Australia :-).

La vie est belle. In this body I'm here once only and I fully intend to make the most of it. I try and live in the moment and enjoy just that.

I have hosted and met a few wonderful people and am now ready to embark on the CS adventure myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a relative newbie to couch surfing though I have met some wonderful couch surfers and hosts alike and I cannot wait to extend the list a lot.

Interesses

I love life. I love the simple things in life. I love to travel, learning new things, meeting new people, exploring new places. I love sitting by myself with the sun on my face, smiling. I love to read. I love music and movies, festivals and dancing. I love yoga. I love knowing that I can make a difference, however small it may be and whatever it is.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I often enjoy reading books that come recommended by friends and acquaintances as it tells me about them as much as it is a surprise. Tim Winton has recently captured my attention and I just finished The Sea on Fire by Howard Cunnell which I thoroughly enjoyed as it also included my home in Brixton, London. I love music full stop. I listen to music that suits my mood and that could be anything. Same goes for movies.

I see amazing things and meet amazing people every day. I have been to some of the world's most beautiful places; a few favourites are: -The mind bogglingly amazing Aussie Outback and the million-trillian of stars, the stunning coastal areas with its reefs and wonderful wildlifeThe first sun rays I watch when possible from my bedroom window turning the sky the most beautiful coloursSitting at 4000m watching the the "roof of the sky", some of the most impressive, humbling and stunning peaks in the HimalayasWatching the sun set over the Taj Mahal in IndiaThe most amount of falling water at Iguazu falls on the border of Argentina, Brasil and Paraguay including the most butterflies ever right thereExperiencing the magic that is Machu Picchu in Peru and enduring the arduous trek thereDiving and snorkelling in the Gallapagos Islands and experiencing wildlfe very few people get to see and be so close toParagliding in the Himalayan region of PokharaThe Canadian RockiesThe temples of Angkor WatThe Thai beaches The South African coast....the list is endless...
