Overview
About Me
I'm mid-studies, (last year Art Foundation at Falmouth UK, next year English at Manchester United), currently moving around and working here and there to fund travels.
Facebook is www.facebook.com/connker, if you'd rather message me there <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Particularly on my recent travels in India I have been offered some incredible hospitality that has just inspired me to give back, but I also value my interactions with a variety of people hugely :) I just want to hear all your stories and eat foreign food and alllll the good stuff
Interests
- vegan cooking
- hardtek
- abstract expressionist painting
Music, Movies, and Books
eg. books on my bedside table right now: Aung San Suu Kyi autobiography by Peter Popham, Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts, To Have Or To Be by Erich Fromm, Islam - A Very Short Introduction (one of those Oxford Short Intros). That's not to say I will finish any of this ;)
TV: not so much into.
Music: perhaps my favourite thing to stalk in the new people I meet: my music taste extends across the hardtek genres of my local party scene to more exotic dance genres like some African fusion stuff at the moment. I couldn't possible start on this, of course hip hop and soul and reggae and dub and any age and any area <3
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last month we went paragliding in the Himalaya <3
Teach, Learn, Share
I can attempt to teach you some drawing ? :) Or a dish or twos cookery perhaps ?
What I Can Share with Hosts
A fairly remote and rural getaway up a hill with some lush views and walking options, some banter and stories and adequate cooking and stuff :)
